FIRM PROFILE

Richard T. Granowsky obtained his law degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.  Before going to law school, Richard was a school and research psychologist having obtained his M.Ed. in School Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and working as a school psychologist at the National Children’s Center in Washington, DC (serving children with moderate to severe developmental disabilities), the Durham Public Schools, and as a researcher at Duke University Medical Center. Following law school Richard practiced as an associate and then a member of the law firm of Hill Evans Jordan & Beatty, PLLC, for 23 years before founding Gate City Law.
